SLED - CONTINUING EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

After July 1, 2004, no private investigation license or registration will be renewed unless the applicant, in the twelve (12) months preceding the application, has satisfactorily completed and certified to the SLED Regulatory Services Unit six (6) hours of continuing education programs approved by SLED.

Continuing Education Program means SLED-approved programs, institutes, seminars, lectures, conferences, workshops, extension study, correspondence courses, professional meetings, self-study courses, cassette or audio-visual course or formal courses of study that are presented for education or training purposes applicable to the private investigation business.
