  • Reveal confidential client and/or case information unless legally ordered to do so.
  • Become involved in "conflict of interest" situtation.
  • Condone or participate in the illegal use of telephone conversation recording equipment, provide or install illegal wire taps.
  • Knowingly break the law to accomplish their investigative objective.
  • Violate people's right to privacy.
  • Trespass or break and enter to achieve investigative objectives.
  • Condone or participate in illegal child snatch back schemes.
  • Illegally obtain non-public information about others and/or access credit reports of others without a signed release or permissible purpose under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA).
  • Obtain personal account information of others from financial institutions under pretext.
  • Use illegal methods of covert electronic survaillance.
  • Obatin business or competitive intelligence by unfair or illegal means.
  • Engage in harrasing or vengeful behavior and/or intimidate witnesses..
  • Fabricate, manipulate and/or alter evidence.

SCALI supporter slain - Monday, February 08, 2010

We are saddened once again over the loss of Attorney Redmond Coyle, Pickens County, Sc who was fatally wounded by a defendant in one of the cases he was handling. Mr. Coyle was an ardend supporter of SCALI. Our heartfelt condolence go out to his family and friends.

A Sad Loss - Friday, January 22, 2010

      We are deeply saddened for the loss of our long time member, colleague and friend, Ed Fewell. Our prayers go out to his family, relatives and friends. Ed was THE professional investigator and an asset to the investigative profession and SCALI. "Big Ed" will be deeply missed by each and every member of the SCALI family. Good bye Ed and God bless.
